wetness

|
Sherpa Natural color
Sherpa is a super-soft fabric that is perfect for cuddly diaper inners and
absorbent soakers or inserts. It is a cotton knit terry that has been brushed on the loop side to create a soft, fleecy texture.
Sherpa stays soft wash after wash and is a favorite for wipes as well as diapers

Bamboo Fleece
Bamboo is one of the newer diaper fabrics in the cloth
diapering world. Bamboo is very absorbent, naturally anti-bacterial, and does not hold odors. It has a soft feel
to it . My most favorite!
|
|
Bamboo Velour
This is a knit fabric with a soft velour finish. This also
aborbs better than cotton but not like hemp. Its softness makes it a great choice for the layer next to babies skin.
This makes nice clothing, bedding and even a diaper.
|
|
Hemp Cotton Fleece natural
This is kinda like a sweatshirt material. It is a flat knit on one
sied and has a brushed surface on the ohter. It is used as an absorbant layer with the brushed side toward the skin
for it's softness. Hemp is naturally antimicrobial, and absorbs much more than cotton.
|
|
Seude Cloth
Suedecloth is thinner than microfleece but has many of the same qualities
that make it perfect for diaper inners. Suedecloth wicks moisture away from baby, resists staining, and does not hold poo.
In addition, suedecloth does not pill and stays new-looking longer than microfleece. It is a man made material and if your
bay is allergic to poly, natural choices would be advised.
|
|
Cotton Flannel
the all time diapering fabric. This is used as an inner layer on
diapers such as flats, AIO, also makes good wipes. It is absorbant and soft but not reccomended as a soaker layer. It is cheap
and you can get it almost any where.

|
Micro Fleece White
There are 2 types of fleece available ,
200 weight wihich is a lighter weight , used to keep baby dry as it is water resistant. It is suitable for light wetters to
moderate wetters. makes a good inner for diapers) The other is a 300 weight -
this is used for the outer cover of a diaper, This is more water proof and is suitable for heavier wetters. Wind pro - This comes in 3 weights, light , med. and heavy. These offer a water proof barrier as well.
It makes a wonderful outer layer and in layer of diaper (not soaker ) .
|
|
Cotton Fleece
This is a jersey heavy weight cotton ( 80- 90 %) This makes for a
great absorbant soaker, and a great liner for diapers. - takes longer to dry in dryer. Cheaper alternitive to Bamboo
fleece.

liners. saves money - and is reusable- must be X-Large adult ,80% or more cotton, best if no front emblem but still can be
used if there is.

Insert Material Choices
Micro Fiber Terry
This is a man made product not intended to place next to babys skin
but it will absorb like no other material will. It is thin so it works best with your all one sized diapers or an all in one .
The drying time with this material is much faster than using cottons. Many diaper makers have moved toward this material .
|
|
Cotton Thick terry
this makes for an inexpensive inner layer also. Can be purchased
anywhere and of course use even a towel and cut it up. Make sure it is cotton though.
|
|
DiaperMaker Zorb™ is a specialty
textile designed to reduce cost and improve performance of reusable cloth diapers and accessory products. ZORB absorbs
10x it's weight in less than half a second -- that's 20x faster than cotton, bamboo or hemp. Zorb has incredible
holding power too, a single layer holds up to 3 times the moisture of the best absorbing knits so leaking and exterior wicking
can be reduced or eliminated. Used in soaker material - not intended to touch the skin - hidden layers only.
